Good morning. Many of you have contacted us to ask a question: Where is my Issue 23? We are here to supply the answer.
As some of you will know, The Fence is printed in Estonia, and the copies are then shipped to the UK to be distributed. The retail copies for the shops are sent separately from the subscriber copies, which are sent to Newsstand in Margate before being dispatched across the world to you all.
The retail copies arrived on time ten days ago, but owing to Brexit-related border delays, the subscriber copies only reached Margate yesterday. Here they lie resplendent in the warehouse.
Subscriber copies will be distributed on Tuesday, after the holidays, and will be with you all next week.
It’s very frustrating for us all here, and short of hijacking the stationary DB Schenker lorry in Poznań, there has been nothing that we can do about it. We are so looking forward to you all reading this issue.
